Lady Indians win seventh straight as seniors are honored
TFS wins senior night over Bethlehem Christian
The #4-ranked Lady Indians ran their win streak to seven straight with a 2-0 win over #8 Bethlehem Christian on Monday at home. Seniors Margalida Amengual Sanchez, Rebecca Heyl, and Laura Ruiz Rendon were honored prior to the contest as the three TFS seniors. TFS won 3-0: 25-15, 25-13, 25-12.
Sanchez had an amazing performance with nine aces. Rendon had great defense, while Heyl had seven kills and plenty of hustle. Corinne Swinton had a team-high 13 kills, and played well defensively with several digs.
Several girls got playing time as TFS had a healthy lead. Finlee Ridlehoover stepped up as setter in the final two points, and Sanchez had those final kills to seal the match.
Tallulah Falls is now 17-5 on the season and 6-0 in region play.
