Three Lady Indians earn XC year-end awards
Henderson named All-Region and All-State after fantastic season
Tallulah Falls had three runners on the girls side to earn major recognition, including Olivia Henderson, Avery Keim, and Naomi Russo. Henderson was named GIAA All-State and All-Region, while Keim and Russo were All-Region selections as well.
OLIVIA HENDERSON - ALL-STATE & ALL-REGION
Junior / Clarkesville, GA
Olivia Henderson became the first Lady Indian in history to place better than 10th at the state meet when she finished 3rd overall in Macon. The top-10 finish earned her All-State honors for GIAA. She was also the Region Runner-Up individually. Throughout the season, she twice broke the school record, with the current mark of 20:17.00 at Unicoi standing as the TFS record. In ten events this season, Henderson was always in the top-10, winning the home meet, TFS Heroes Invitational, coming in Runner-Up three times, and 3rd-place five times.
AVERY KEIM - ALL-REGION
Junior / Clarkesville, GA
Avery Keim had a stellar season for Tallulah Falls, finishing the season with a 15th-place finish at state. In the Region Championships, Keim came in third to earn All-Region honors. She saved her best for last, setting a PR in the state meet with a 21:53.88, good for 6th-place on the TFS Legacy List. She ran to four top-10 finishes this season.
NAOMI RUSSO - ALL-REGION
8th-Grader / Clarkesville, GA
8th-grade callup Naomi Russo came up huge in the biggest meets. Her season started with the MS campaign, where she helped the Lady Indians to a Tri-State Championship. She was runner-up in that meet, then got the call to run with varsity for the Region Championships and the State Championships. At region, Russo came in fifth to earn All-Region status. At state, she came in 27th with a PR of 22:42.47, good for 13th on the TFS Legacy List.
