JV girls rally for 2-1 win at LCA
JV Lady Indians win thriller on the road
The JV Lady Indians won a 2-1 match at Loganville Christian on Thursday.
AnnaLee Wall and Tori Crotta led the attack early on. Camryn Perry and Becca Roberts kept the pressure from the outside hitter positions. Nora Mitchell, Emmalyn Whisnant and Azul Felder Terrados had a great showing in the back row on defense. Crotta, Finlee Ridlehoover, Whisnant, and Mitchell had great runs at serve.
TFS won the opening set 25-23, dropped the middle set 22-25, and despite falling behind 8-14 in the finale, they came back to win 17-15.
Wall and Whisnant closed the gap and brought it even. Crotta had a timely kill to tie it at 15 apiece, and Abigail Cruz at serve rose above the pressure. She had back-to-back aces to seal the comeback win.
