JV volleyball wins quick match over Athens Christian

The JV Lady Indians posted a quick 2-0 win Tuesday at Athens Christian, moving to 2-0 in region play.

A 25-14 first set was followed by a 25-10 clinching set. Becca Roberts came out on fire, serving well with eight aces and two kills. Finlee Ridlehoover dropped in seven aces and a kill.

AnnaLee Wall ate up the net with eight kills and one ace. Camryn Perry, Madison Williams, Abigail Cruz, Azul Felder Terrados, and Shelby Simmons all had a kill apiece. Simmons also connected with a clean kill on a perfect set by Ridlehoover to finish the match.

The JV girls are now 6-3 on the season.
