Heyl hits milestone win in sweep of George Walton, Banks
Matt Heyl reaches 200 career wins with 2-0 victory over region foes
On a night that coach Matt Heyl reached 200 career wins, the #6-ranked Lady Indians cruised to 2-0 wins over both George Walton and Banks County. Heyl was recognized on the home court prior to the match against Banks County. With the two wins, TFS advances to 15-5 overall and 4-0 in region play, with now five straight wins.

Corinne Swinton, Sofia Livianos, and Lily Smith pounded out handfuls of kills in the match. In the opening 25-18 set win, Livianos and Swinton had multiple blocks at the net. The second set saw TFS roll out to a 7-1 lead quickly, and it was fitting that Rebecca Heyl notched the match-clinching kill to make her dad a winner of 200 matches. It was a 25-7 second set to secure the match.
Lady Indians W 2-0 vs Banks County
TFS kept it going with a 2-0 win over Banks. It stared with a 25-13 first set in which Swinton and Smith racked up a combined seven kills. Livianos and Heyl also contributed with huge swings over the net. Smith, Livianos, and Shelby Whisnant all recorded a block each to add to the score. Several had key serving runs including Whisnant, Heyl, and Margalida Amengual Sanchez.
Tallulah Falls put the match away with a 25-18 final set. Amengual Sanchez worked hard on offense to give hitters ample opportunities to get the win.
