Dominant Lady Indians roll through Elbert and Stephens
Win streak hits three for Tallulah Falls
The Lady Indians' win streak reaches three with a tri-match sweep on Thursday evening in Toccoa. Tallulah Falls downed both Stephens County and Elbert County in straight sets.
vs Elbert County: W 2-0 (25-12, 25-20)
vs Stephens County: W 2-0 (25-11, 25-15)
"We had a solid showing tonight," says coach Matt Heyl. "Our second sets weren't our best, but we finished well. It was a great night to see everyone get in, get some experience, and contribute."
Corinne Swinton had a great serving performance. With Laura Ruiz Rendon out with an injury, Emma Whisnant did a great job filling in. Margalida Amengual Sanchez led the offense well, delivering some great sets.
"All our hitters were on fire," adds Heyl. "Leading the way was Becca [Heyl] with several kills in each match."
Sofia Livianos and Swinton had many monster kills, and Swinton was great at the net, getting a lot of touches with her block.
The Lady Indians are now 6-2 overall on the season.
