2-doubles team clinches key win for MS Lady Indians
Olivia Newkirk, Quinn Fessett staple down win for TFS
The MS Lady Indians won a second straight contest with a home 3-2 win over Rabun Gap on Thursday.
"It was another team effort for the girls in a terrific win today," adds coach Anthony Cox. "It was tied 2-2 with our second doubles combo of Olivia and Quinn last to finish. They were dominant to clinch the victory for their team. It was a great moment."
The Lady Indians are now 4-4 overall and 2-3 in Southern Mountain League play. With one match remaining, which doesn't count toward the standings, the girls are likely the 4-seed for the SML tournament next week.
