Girls back in win column with 5-0 senior night win
Veteran lineup posts another shutout win
The Lady Indians got right back where they belong, in the win column on Monday against Lakeview. TFS honored its seniors before the contest, as well as coach Anthony Cox being recognized for his recent 100th career win.
The seniors - Ava Carnes, Jaeda-Lee Daniel-Joseph, Azaria Junaid, Charlotte Stafford, and Keira Webb - had north of 150 career singles and doubles wins combined coming in. They represented the most successful class to come through the tennis program.
"What an amazing day celebrating our five senior girls, who have all been with our program at least four years," adds Cox. "This is a group that has set a standard that will be so difficult to measure up to. Their tennis records and accolades will likely stand for a long time, but their character, academic performance, and service to others are just as commendable. They will be missed in the future years, but the final chapter of their story has yet to be written."
Tallulah Falls (11-4) moved to 4-0 in region play with the victory.
