MS girls suffer 9-0 loss to White County
Lady Indians shut out against White County
The MS Lady Indians dropped a 9-0 Tuesday match with White County.
"We had some obvious improvements overall as a team," says coach Vinny Correa. "Just another tough game against a very strong White County team. 13 8th-graders, super fast up top, and all grew up playing club ball together. Our girls fought hard and I believe are continuing to grow despite tough opposition early in the season."
Addisyn McCoy had many fantastic saves throughout the match. Audrey Roy had a strong outing also, with a goal saved on top of the line with seven minutes left in the first half.
Maizee Fleming had a few escapes up the middle and came close to scoring a few times.
"Overall, another game that our young Lady Indians team learned a lot and showed some development. As long as we keep improving, we are in the right direction."
