Lady Indians pull of 3-peat of Region Championship as Hatcher claims low medalist honors
Maeve Hatcher earns top spot as TFS secures 10th straight state berth
The Lady Indians pulled off a rare 3-peat as Region Champions on Monday, taking first with a score of 167 at Monroe Golf Club. Simultaneously, the girls qualified for state for the 10th time in program history.
Maeve Hatcher was the individual region champ, earning low medalist honors with an 82. Handley James followed with an 85 (Runner-Up), and Alex Rokasko carded a 100.
Hatcher is the fifth different girls golfer to be an individual region champion (Maggie Jackson '18 and '21; Mallory Higgins '24; Liv Eckhard '25, and Jenny Wang '16).
The only Tallulah Falls teams to ever 3-peat as region champs are the Lady Indians golf team ('24-'26), Lady Indians tennis team ('24-'26), and the Indians soccer team ('23-'25).
