TFS falls in 54-42 final
Tallulah Falls nearly came up with a big region road win on Saturday, falling in a 54-42 final at Loganville Christian. TFS was within just one point going into the final quarter.
The girls were ahead 14-12 after the first, and trailed by four at the half. A strong third quarter had Tallulah just a point away from the lead, but the home team outscored TFS 16-5 in the final period.
Klara Dvorakova led with 11 points, while Marta Beltran and Ines Gil had nine apiece.
Nora Mitchell chipped in with six, LB Kafsky added five, and Linda White two.
The Lady Indians finish the regular season with a record of 6-12, including a 2-7 mark inside region play.
