Massive first quarter propels Lady Indians to victory
TFS scores 25 on the way to road win in South Carolina
A 25-point first quarter propelled the Lady Indians (4-8) to a 52-13 road win on Thursday at Oconee Christian (SC).
Lia Sanjur had nine points in that opening frame, including a key 3-pointer, while LB Kafsky, Nora Mitchell, and Klara Dvorakova each had multiple baskets too.
TFS added 16 more in the second, with Linda White scoring six in the period to pad the advantage to 41-5 at the half.
Sanjur finished with a team-high 11, while Dvorakova, White, and Kafsky all added eight apiece. Gracey Eller had seven (six in the fourth), Mitchell chipped in four, and Inis Gil, Mia Kerr, and Azul Felder Terrados recoded two apiece.
