TFS rolls to 16-point win in Hiawassee

The Lady Indians grabbed a 58-42 road win in Hiawassee on Saturday against Towns County, ending a 3-game slide.
TFS (3-5) had just a 3-point lead after one, but scored 22 in the second to pull ahead 36-27 at the break. Marta Beltran had six in the opening quarter, while LB Kafsky added six in the second.
Ines Gil drained two deep shots in the third, and the girls held on til the end.
Gil led with 12 points, Kafsky and Beltran both ended with 10 points, and Klara Dvorakova had nine and Linda White added seven.
Lia Sanjur Santos recorded six points, while Nora Mitchell had two.
