MS softball ends season on high note with huge win
TFS picks up a 17-6 win at East Hall
The MS Lady Indians saved their best for last, securing a 17-6 win at East Hall after trailing 3-0 early on Wednesday evening.
TFS scored eight in the second, four in the third, and five in the fourth.
"They played hard from start to finish and it was a great way to end the season," exclaims coach Jo Kimbrel.
Helena Hastie had five RBI and three hits, and Chaylei Carter tallied four RBI and a hit. Sophia Franklin had three RBI, Aleigha Jones had two, and Ruby Sue Anderson, Evie Purcell, and Talley Turpin each drove in a run. Purcell also had two hits, and Anderson struck out five while walking just three and earning the win.
The Lady Indians close their season at 2-9 overall.
