Track & Field teams perform well in Lights at Lanier
Penland, Anderson, Martinez all have top finishes in events

The Tallulah Falls track and field teams competed in the Lights at Lanier meet at Lanier HS on Wednesday.
The Indians finished sixth, while the Lady Indians were seventh overall in the meet.
For the girls, the following had a top-10 finish in their event: Carlota Martinez (1st in Pole Vault), Joanna Miller (3rd in 100, 3rd in 200, 3rd in LJ), Masa Ivancevic (5th in 300 MH, 5th in TJ), Mary Kate Ball (5th in 800, 7th in 400), Gabby Oliver (6th in 1600, 9th in 800, 9th in Shot Put), and Mara Pejanovic (7th in 300 MH).
The Indians also had top-10 finishes: Teagan Penland (1st in 800, 3rd in 1600), Ryan Anderson (1st in 400, 5th in 800), Joan Hernandez Espina (3rd in Pole Vault), and Gonzalo Martinez (5th in Pole Vault).
