Boys roll to ninth straight win to close out regular season
MS Indians victorious again!
The MS Indians secured a ninth straight win, taking a 5-0 final over Rabun County on Tuesday at home to polish off the regular season.
"The boys continued their strong performance, closing out the season without a loss and will enter the tournament as the top seed," says coach Anthony Cox.
Tallulah Falls receives a first-round bye and will host the semifinals and finals next Wednesday at home.
"The opponents will definitely be hungry to take us down, so we will have to bring the right mindset to the semifinal match," adds Cox.
"It was also a wonderful afternoon to recognize and celebrate our eighth graders for all their contributions to our middle school tennis program," adds Cox. "They have each had an impact in their own ways, and we are proud of them and hope to see them continue playing tennis."
The Indians are a perfect 9-0 and 5-0 in SML action.
