Singles lineup perfect in shutout win over Riverside
TFS starts new streak with dominant win at home
The Indians grabbed a 5-0 win over Riverside on Tuesday, snapping a 2-match skid in the process. TFS (6-4; 2-1) took a key region win, and got a perfect outing from the singles lineup, which didn't drop a single game.
"This was truly one of our best wins this season, which was nice after dropping a couple against tough teams on Friday," says coach Anthony Cox. "The fact that the singles players didn't drop one game is incredible. And Riverside has been winning almost all their doubles matches. So sweeping is an encouraging sign as we press ahead. Tomorrow is another big region match at George Walton, and we hope to carry this momentum forward."
