MS Indians play with max effort in tough loss to King's Academy
Hanifan-Wagner supplies the goal in tight game
The MS Indians played with grit and heart in a tough 2-1 loss on Monday against visiting King's Academy.
Kai Hanifan-Wagner posted an early goal, assisted by Jetzon Maclin. The visitors leveled the game before the half, and put in the game-winner late in the closing minutes of the contest.
"Today was eighth grade recognition, and all the boys gave their best efforts before the home crowd," says coach Travis Mullis. "Overall, we had more shots than our opponent, but couldn't finish. We're looking forward to a good training tomorrow then a solid final match at Towns County."
Brantley Dill had four saves in a solid effort in goal.
