MS Indians produce strong first half at King's Academy
TFS drops 4-2 decision in season opener
The MS Indians opened their season with a 4-2 loss at King's Academy in Canton on Thursday.
Within the first 10 minutes, TFS (0-1) got on the board with a goal from Kai Hanifan-Wagner, assisted by Ethan Alderfer. Just a few minutes later, Hanifan-Wagner then crossed the ball for a Jetzon Maclin goal.
King's Academy overcame the 2-0 deficit with all four goals in the second half.
"The boys played very well having just finished tryouts yesterday," says caoch Travis Mullis. "We weren't fit for a full match, so we couldn't continue the game in a focused manner. Regardless, based on how we did in the first, we have a great foundation to build on. Things are already looking great for 2026! Special shoutouts for our eighth-grade captains who are leading us this season - Jetzon, Ayaan, Evan, and Halen!"
