JV Indians drop contest with Riverside
TFS loses 4-2 final
The JV Indians lost a 4-2 final against Riverside on Wednesday evening, snapping a 3-match win streak.
Tallulah Falls (3-2) retaliated early with a goal by Andrija Sajic, with the assist coming from Ethan Phasavang.
The Indians went up 2-1 in the first half on a goal by Moises Barragan. The second half featured Riverside coming back to win 4-2.
Joey Crotta had a stellar PK save in the contest.
"We had a lot of shots on goal, but struggled to finish," says coach David Jimenez. "Most of our attacks were messy, but we learned a lot about one of our weaknesses. I hope to take this opportunity to learn how to handle it in the future."
