JV Indians fall in gritty contest against Rabun
TFS loses 1-0 final
The JV Indians opened their season facing some adversity in a 1-0 tough loss at Rabun County on Wednesday.
"Joey Crotta played an amazing game in goal, stepping up for his team after an injury to Lucas Woodland," says coach David Jimenez.
Rabun scored on a PK in the second half, though TFS outshot the Wildcats 10-5.
"Overall, we started off strong," adds Jimenez. "We tapered off through the first half. After the penalty, the team mentally struggled to recover despite creating good opportunities. We've got some improvements to make, but I see the potential."
The Indians are 0-1 to start the season.
