The Indians roll on to the Elite 8 after a gritty 4-3 victory in the Round of 12 over Tattnall Square Academy. The GIAA State Soccer Playoffs Elite 8 is set for Saturday, May 16.

Tallulah Falls Preview
The Indians (16-1) are four-peat region champions who have now won 16 games in a row. That ties the school record. TFS, ranked #4 in the state, is now seeking a second straight Final 4 berth. Tallulah Falls has outscored its opposition by a total of 96-15 this season. The first round win over Tattnall Square was a 4-3 final in which Ky Thompson, Petar Gromiko, Bushy Turnquest, and Francisco Moreira Cardosa Mor Vierira all notched goals.
Alberto Battino and Lucas Woodland hold it down in goal, while Turnquest leads the team with 19 goals and five assists. Simon Gainzarain Hernando (12 G, 12 A) and Fabricio Turner Sandoval (12 G, 11 A), along with Gromiko (8 G, 7 A) have been stellar all season. TFS recently earned several All-Region honors, as coach Jeremy Stille was named Coach of the Year and 1st Team selections included Gromiko, Gainzarain Hernando, Turner Sandoval, and Tyson Hall. 2nd Team honors went to Turnquest, Moro Vierira, Ian Borchers, and Kale Borchers.
Calvary Christian holds a 10-5 overall record with 43 goals scored and 16 allowed. The Knights earned a BYE in the opening round as they hold the 4-seed. In the state polls, Calvary Christian is ranked #8, while Tallulah Falls is currently #4.
