Boys soccer collects nine All-Region honors
TFS dominates All-Region list with nine total selections
The Indians, who just won their first round playoff game to advance to the Elite 8, had nine selections on the All-Region list for 2026.
Tallulah Falls (16-1) had four 1st Team honors, the Coach of the Year, and four 2nd Team All-Region honors.
1st Team All-Region
Petar Gromiko, Simon Gainzarain Hernando, Fabricio Turner Sandoval, and Tyson Hall all collected 1st Team recognition.
Gromiko has eight goals and seven assists on the season. The senior from Belgrade, Serbia has stepped up in several situations, even switching positions due to injuries, and has thrived as a leader.
Gainzarain Hernando (Vigo, Spain) is a sophomore who has a dozen goals to match a dozen assists, leading the team in the latter. Turner Sandoval, of Panama City, Panama, is a center mid with 12 goals and 11 assists overall.
Junior Tyson Hall (Mt. Airy, GA) has four goals and five assists.
2nd Team All-Region
Those who earned 2nd Team honors include senior striker Versean 'Bushy' Turnquest (Nassau, Bahamas), who leads the team in scoring with 19 goals and has added five assists.
Francisco Moreira Cardosa Mori Vierira (Vitoria, Brazil) is a junior center back and has four goals and three assists.
Freshman Ian Borchers (CB from Mt. Airy, GA) has played very well defensively, and even tallied two goals. Junior Kale Borchers, a left mid and team captain, has nine goals and five assists on the season.
Coach of the Year
Head coach Jeremy Stille has earned Coach of the Year honors after leading TFS to a region title, which was a fourth straight for the program.
Stille has earned three Coach of the Year honors in his time at Tallulah Falls. He eclipsed 100 career victories earlier in the season.
