Offense erupts for eight goals, as defense plays air-tight in physical match
TFS beats Loganville Christian in tense match
Tallulah Falls reeled off yet another dominant victory on Tuesday at Loganville Christian, winning 8-0 for a ninth straight win.
The #7-ranked Indians (9-1; 6-0 in region) controlled possession for most of the match and were very efficient with their opportunities on goal.
"It was a pretty tense and hostile match despite the score line," adds coach Jeremy Stille. "Their coach was ejected in the first 20 minutes of the match and plenty of yellow cards were handed out. Our defense was solid, only giving up one or two shots in the second half."
Kale Borchers had two goals and three assists to lead Tallulah. Lucas Woodland had a save and he along with Alberto Battino split the shutout.
"The guys are looking forward to a well-earned break next week before we face the return legs of our region matches before state."
