Indians rebound with 5-1 victory over Georgia Military
TFS takes 5-1 win at Creek Cup Inv
The Indians (1-1) officially claimed their first win of the 2026 season in a 5-1 final at the Creek Cup Invitational against Georgia Military College on Saturday.
Goals were scored by Francisco Moreira Cardosa Mori Vierira, Simon Gainzarain Hernando, Ryan Kelsick, Kale Borchers, and Versean Turnquest on a PK.
Assists came by Gainzarian Hernando (three) and Sebastian York. Lucas Woodland was solid in goal with four saves.
"The boys played really well today," says coach Jeremy Stille. "They adjusted well to the size of the field having played on it yesterday. They welcomed the physical challenge from a well-organized Georgia Military squad. Many players stepped up and played in positions they aren't normally in. There was tremendous leadership and camaraderie on the field with plenty of communication and support. Again, thank you to our traveling fans, families, faculty, and students that made the long trip to support the team."
