Pulliam completes third straight low medalist round, while Hatcher leads girls
TFS splits at Flowery Branch in Thursday round
Tallulah Falls split with Flowery Branch on Thursday, with the boys notching a win and the girls falling by a mere two strokes.
Max Pulliam was the low medalist for a third straight match, carding a 38 (+2). Ryder Cantrell was right on his heels with a 39, while Rylee Smith and Owen Earp both fired a 42.
Kalvin Ngov (46), Emmitt Likins (47), Tate Turpin and Jayden Hangbo (49), and Wyatt Dorsey (59) all competed well for TFS. The boys won 161-188 against Flowery Branch.
The Lady Indians dropped a 92-90 final, as Maeve Hatcher came in with a 45 and Handley James turned in a 47.
"For the boys, this was our lowest team score of the year in a 9-hole match," says coach CJ Stockel. "It's still early in the season, but the hard work is starting to pay off. As we move forward, we will need to put it all together for 18 holes. It comes down to taking it one shot at a time and continuing to believe in the process."
