Bain, Kafsky earn All-State recognition by GIAA
Neyo Bain and LB Kafsky take GIAA All-State accolades
The GIAA named its All-State selections for the 2025-26 season, and two from Tallulah Falls earned the distinct honors. Senior Neyo Bain and junior LB Kafsky were recognized among the best in the state.
Neyo Bain
Bain (Nassau, Bahamas) a 1,000-point scorer who helped guide the Indians to back-to-back Elite 8 trips, earns the honors for the second year in a row. The 3-time All-Region guard was the team's leading scorer this season, and had the most assists and steals.
He ends his career as one of the most decorated basketball players for the Indians, and his 1,057 points ranks fifth-most all-time. He notched well over 300 rebounds, and his 246 assists is second to only Jake Carver's 257 ('19). He also was two shy of the all-time steals record with 182, just a couple behind Michael Weidner ('17).
LB Kafsky
Kafsky (Clarkesville, GA) followed up her sophomore breakout season with a fantastic junior year. Often, the guard/forward would lead the team in scoring, rebounding, and steals. Also an All-Region selection, Kafsky helped the Lady Indians to the Elite 8 for a second straight season.
Her 179 rebounds this year ranks 8th-most in a single season, and her 11 blocks is the 7th-most. She recorded 50 steals this season as well.
