Indians reel off second straight win, beating Athens Academy
TFS wins 58-54 in tight home contest
The Indians (2-0) scratched out a gritty 58-54 win on Tuesday at home against Athens Academy.
Tallulah outscored Athens 25-10 in the first, though the visitors roared back in the second to tie the game at 32 heading into the break.
In the third, TFS pulled ahead, holding a 3-point lead going into the final quarter. The boys did just enough in the fourth, converting on several free throws to seal the win.
Matus Zlocha had 16 points, making four 3-pointers in the game. Neyo Bain and Brian Neely both finished with 10 points, and Alberto Battino had nine. Todor Stanimirovic added seven, Marquis Rolle four, and Joris Jarockis chipped in with two.
