Broome, Crumley finish as State Runner-Up while earning National Championship qualification

The Tallulah Falls Bass Fishing team competed on Lake Hartwell in the GIAA State Championship on April 4.

The Indians finished Runner-Up in an incredible day on the lake, simultaneously earning All-State honors for 2025-26.

TFS also captured GIAA Big Fish honors for the State Championship tournament, and have now qualified for the National Championship in Russell Springs, Kentucky on Lake Cumberland.

For DJ Broome and Shepard Crumley, it marks their third top-10 state finish, with this being their best overall placement and earning their second national championship qualifier.
