JV wraps up season with DH sweep of Lakeview
TFS throws no-hitter in opener as part of sweep
The JV Indians won their second and third straight games on Monday with a doubleheader sweep at home against Lakeview.
Game 1
Tallulah Falls took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second. In the bottom of the third, the Indians scored three more runs to stretch out the lead. The final score was 4-1.
Sean Forbes had one run, one hit, and a RBI. Richard Ferguson, Brody Dampier, and Andrew Ahn each had one run. Siddarth Sharma and Ferris Nicholson each had one hit as well in the win.
Easton Pollock and Ryan Anderson combined to throw a no-hitter, allowing one unearned run.
Game 2
TFS held an early 1-0 lead after the first inning. After the third inning, Tallulah took a 3-0 lead and never looked back. The final score was 4-2.
Leslie Sands Jr had two hits and three RBI. Brody Dampier and Micah Smith each had one run and one hit. Ferris Nicholson, Siddarth Sharma, and #20 each had one hit as well in the win.
TFS wrapped up its season with a 7-1 overall record in the process.
