JV Indians rally to split with West Oak
TFS wins 9-8 thriller to even series
The JV Indians secured a split on Monday with West Oak at home, falling 6-1 before winning game two by a 9-8 final.
In the opener, TFS (5-1) fell behind 6-0, scoring its only run in the fifth on an RBI hit by Ryan Anderson. Brody Dampier took the loss after pitching four frames.
In the second game, Tallulah came from behind to take a 8-4 lead into the fifth. After seeing West Oak tie the game with a 4-run fifth, the Indians, Farris Nicholson walked it off by scoring on a passed ball.
Richard Ferguson had two hits and a run, while Sid Sharma had a hit and two RBI. Sean Forbes earned the win in relief, and added a walk and a run.
