Tallulah drops road game to snap 3-game streak
Tallulah Falls dropped a high-scoring back-and-forth battle at Trinity Christian on Saturday by a 12-10 final.
The Indians (12-14) saw their 3-game win streak come to an end despite putting up 10-plus runs for a fourth straight game. TFS tallied 11 hits by seven different players.
TFS scored in the opening frame only to see Trinity scored twice in the home half and add three in the bottom of the second.
The Indians would rebound with a 5-run third to take a 6-5 lead, but Trinity matched with five runs of its own in the bottom half.
The home team stretched the lead to 12-6 by the sixth inning, though TFS rallied for four runs in the final inning and left the bases loaded.
Ashton Roache, Jordan Miller, Drew Barron, and Alex Stefanovic each had two hits. Sean Forbes, William NeSmith, and Brantley Allen all had a hit apiece.
Roache had two doubles and two runs. NeSmith and Allen both had two RBI.
