Indians win in comfortable fashion against West Oak
TFS wins by 10 over West Oak
TFS (11-13) got the early run-rule win against West Oak in a 12-2 final on Thursday at home.
West Oak took an early 2-1 lead after the first inning. By the bottom of the third, Tallulah Falls took a 3-2 lead and never looked back.
The bottom of the fourth was pure dominance, with the Indians scoring five runs. The fifth inning was more of the same, with four more runs for TFS that ended the game early.
Jordan Miller had three runs, two hits, and an RBI. Ashton Roache had two runs, two hits, and a RBI. Ferris Nicholson also had himself a day with two runs, two hits, a RBI, and a homerun.
Drew Barron picked up the win while only allowing two runs and seven hits.
"Another great team win," says coach Justin Pollock. "We've been talking a lot about getting hot at the right time and I thought tonight was one of the best games we've played all year. Excited to celebrate our seniors tomorrow night."
