Roache homers again in tough loss at Pinecrest

The Indians lost a 10-8 road game at Pinecrest Academy, despite another homerun by Ashton Roache.

TFS (2-1) broke a scoreless tie in the third with a 5-run inning. Richard Ferguson and Jackson Savage had back-to-back RBI singles as part of the damage.

The Paladins got four runs back in the home half before Tallulah used a Jordan Miller sac fly to take a 6-4 advantage.

The home team got it back again, and then pulled ahead for good with a pair of runs in the fifth and three more in the sixth.

In the final frame, Roache launched a 2-run homer to left, his second of the season and 12th of his career, which is tops all-time at TFS.

The Indians had four total hits. Leslie Sands took the hard-luck loss after giving up three unearned runs across 2.2 innings.
