TFS names newest Indians of the Month
The following athletes were chosen by their coaches as Indians of the Month for March 2026.
VARSITY BASEBALL
JORDAN MILLER - JR IF #1
Jordan has really elevated his game to a new level this season. He brings a high level of energy and effort to practice each day and is playing fast and free in games. -coach Justin Pollock
VARSITY GIRLS SOCCER
RYLEIGH WILSON - JR D #4
Ryleigh has been a very positive force on our team this year. She has a fantastic attitude and is a great role model for my younger players. I appreciate her leadership this season. -coach Erin Jimenez

PETAR GROMIKO - SR LB #3
Petar is a captain and leader on the team. He always shows up, puts in his greatest effort and is one the most passionate competitors at the school. -coach Jeremy Stille
VARSITY GIRLS TENNIS
JAEDA-LEE DANIEL-JOSEPH - SR #1 Singles
Jaeda-Lee Daniel-Joseph has been on quite an impressive run for the tennis team. In the month of March, she was 11-1 at the 1-singles position. This included opponents during our tournament play the likes of Westminster, West Forsyth, and Pace. Jaeda-Lee continues to be a hard worker and sets the standard for what it takes to be a successful student-athlete. Her habits in practice and her additional work outside of team practices provide an example for others to follow. We are grateful to have Jaeda-Lee leading our tennis program as a captain and are excited for her tennis opportunity at the next level with Barton College. -coach Anthony Cox

REILLY COX - SO #2 SINGLES
Reilly Cox has been a steady leader for our boys tennis team. He has had a very strong month of March, going 6-0 in region matches at the 2-singles line while dropping a total of just six games and earning two 6-0 6-0 shutouts. Reilly leads by example, always working hard in practice and maintaining composure during matches. His dependable approach has set a great example for younger players to emulate, and his future is very bright. -coach Anthony Cox

MAEVE HATCHER - FR
Maeve Hatcher continues to have an impressive season for the Lady Indians, and consistently leads the team in each match. -coach CJ Stockel
VARSITY BOYS GOLF
MAX PULLIAM - SO
Sophomore Max Pulliam. He has had two different rounds scoring a 38, which is three strokes off the school record. Max recorded his 38 scores against Flowery Branch at The Orchard, and against Rabun County at Kingwood. -coach CJ Stockel
VARSITY GIRLS TRACK & FIELD
JOANNA MILLER - JR
Joanna had an incredible month of March, reeling off seven individual event wins, and numerous other scoring finishes in the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, and Long Jump across five very competitive meets. She established a new TFS school record in the 200 meters and a new personal best in the 100 and 400 meters. Her hard work has cemented her as a force in the GIAA, currently holding rankings of 1st in the 400 meters, 2nd in the 200 meters and the 4x400 meter relay, 3rd in the 100 meters, and 6th in the Long Jump. -coach Jamie Jimison

HUDSON PENLAND - SO
Hudson has worked incredibly hard this season, which has paid big dividends for him and for TFS. He showed tremendous growth in March, reeling off significant personal bests in the 800 meters, 1600 meters, and 3200 meters. He has established himself as a reliable scorer for our program. -coach Jamie Jimison

MITCHELL MCGAHEE - SR
Mitchell shot a new school record 594 beating the old school record by two points while at the CMP 3 Position State Championship! He led the team to an invitation to the National Championship. Two weeks later he won Gold in 60 shot olympic standing at the Southeast Monthly Match in Alabama. -coach Tim Stamey

GEORGIA PHILLIPS - FR
Georgia has been on fire. She was the fourth of our 4 person team at the CMP 3P State Championship and shot a 573 out of 600. She not only shot well enough to earn her Varsity Letter but exceeded it by 13 points! Without her incredible performance, we would have not won an invitation to the National Championship. Georgia is always the first one ready to shoot at practice and will out work anyone. Her dedication and focus has made her one of the best shooters anywhere at her age and experience. -coach Tim Stamey

Waldon, as a captain, player, and student has been a constant drive for our team. No matter the situation, he is always looking at how we, as a team, can improve on the field and off. I hope to see him continue in his endeavors, and I am happy to have him as a leader on my team. -coach David Jimenez

CAMI PERRY - SO M #3
Cami had shown amazing improvement from the beginning of the season, and she scored her first career goal against Stephan's county before spring break. She is such a leader on the field and uplifts everyone so much. She is such a great person to have on the team. -coach Hannah Thompson

RYAN ANDERSON - JR P #20
Ryan joined our team late but has done a great job of stepping in and finding ways to contribute on the mound and at the plate. He works hard and really has a great desire to learn the game at a deeper level. -coach Justin Pollock
MS BASEBALL
EASTON POLLOCK - 8TH P/C #13
Easton currently has a .813 batting average with a .773 on base percentage. He has 10 singles,3 doubles and scoring 8 runs and team leading 12 RBIs. He has a .889 fielding percent and from the mound has a era of 3.073. Easton is a team player contributing in all areas and willing to play/bat in multiple positions. His future is bright on the diamond! -coach Jo Kimbrel

AUDREY ROY - 7TH CB #37
Audrey has shown a strong willingness to grow and lead her teammates both on and off the soccer field. She commands our defense with clear, decisive communication and consistently brings a positive attitude to every practice and game. Audrey is a captain in her own right and serves as a solid pillar in the foundation of our new Middle School Girls Soccer program. -coach Vinny Correa

JETZON MACLIN - 8TH M #9
Jetzon Maclin, an eighth-grade midfielder, has distinguished himself as a leader and competitor for our middle school boys soccer team. A three-year starter and team captain, Jetzon provides a strong presence in the midfield, consistently setting the tone with his work rate, vision, and leadership. He is currently tied for the team lead in goals this season with six and continues to impact games on both ends of the field. Jetzon's commitment extends beyond the season, as he dedicated time in the offseason to training in the weight room and further developing his skills through multiple seasons with Atlanta Fire United Soccer Club. Along with his athletic contributions, Jetzon exemplifies the values of our program through strong academics and outstanding character, making him a deserving nominee for Indian of the Month. -coach Travis Mullis

HELENA HASTIE - 7TH
I chose Helena Hastie as MS Girls Golf IOM because she has improved tremendously over the course of this season. She is very coachable, always willing to listen and apply feedback, and consistently brings a positive attitude to every practice and match. Helena's love for the game has grown significantly, and it shows in her effort and commitment to getting better. Her progress and mindset make her a valuable member of the team, and I am excited to see her continue to improve and develop as a golfer. -coach Hannah Satterfield

OLIVER RADFORD - 6TH
I chose Oliver Radford as MS Boys Golf IOM because he is a talented player who shows a true passion for the game of golf. He demonstrates an incredible work ethic and a strong drive to improve each day, always pushing himself to get better. Oliver has been a consistent contributor to our team this season, earning five low medalist honors along with two runner-up finishes. His dedication, focus, and positive attitude set him apart, and he continues to be a great example for his teammates. Oliver's talent is clear, and I look forward to watching him continue to grow and succeed as a golfer. -coach Hannah Satterfield

EMILY PAPANDREAS - 7TH
Emily has shown eagerness to try and learn numerous new things this season. She found her niche through that process, discovering tremendous potential in the High Jump. She earned valuable points for the team in the event in all 3 of our March meets, including 2 wins. The sky is the limit for Emily! -coach Jamie Jimison

LUKE RUSSO - 6TH
Luke has proven to be a jack of all trades for the TFS Track & Field team. He is a key performer in the Hurdles and High Jump, consistently earning event wins and valuable points for the Indians in both disciplines. He also willingly steps into Middle Distance, Sprint, and Relay races, providing meaningful contributions there as well. His versatility is crucial to our program! -coach Jamie Jimison
